Our Story

Our People:

Chris Walcott

Chris WalcottChris worked as the first apprentice of Veenstra Plumbing and earned his Masters License while working there. He then left to work internationally for 10 years before returning to the County. Upon his return, he proudly took over the business from founder Harry Veenstra in 2016. Chris has over 20 years’ experience in the construction and plumbing trades. He runs the business with his wife Jen, and also works hard serving clients as part of the Veenstra team.

Chris is thrilled to be back in the County where his family has roots.

Keith Jackson

Keith JacksonKeith is County born and raised. He’s been plumbing for over 40 years. His father was the “Jackson” in the original county plumbing company “Clapp and Jackson” established in 1948. There probably isn’t a house or building in the County Keith hasn’t been in at least once, and many of our clients ask for him by name.

Randy Minnie

Randy MinnieRandy has been a plumber for over 30 years, with experience ranging from water treatment companies to large commercial apartment buildings. Born and raised here, Randy is the kind of man this county was built on – the kind of man who always goes the extra mile. He will take on any plumbing challenge so you’ll often see him on our trickiest jobs. After work, Randy enjoys his jet ski, and spending time with his grandkids.

Mark Peters

Mark PetersMark comes to us from across the bay and now calls the Hay Bay area home. With over 20 years in the plumbing trade, Mark is the kind of quiet, steady guy you can count on to see things through. He loves fishing and golfing, and his twin girls.

Travis Minnie

Travis MinnieWe are proud to have Travis join our team, following in his father, Randy's, footsteps! Travis is an apprentice with Veenstra Plumbing. His mechanical background is in the automotive industry.

In his spare time, his hobbies include his jet-ski, online gaming and his son!

Our apprentices are valuable assets to the team. The age old relationship between a tradesman and his apprentice is a sacred one and we are really proud of them.
